How do I change the port used by SearchBlox?

The SearchBlox Server uses port 8080 by default. This can be changed as provided below

Windows

The SearchBlox Server uses port 8080 by default. This can be changed in the C:\SearchBlox Server\start.ini file at line no 143, update the following line to set the required port number:
jetty.http.port=8080

Linux

Similarly, in Linux, the port number can be changed in /opt/searchblox/start.ini at line number 143 as follows
jetty.http.port=8080
However, in Linux, it is not possible to run SearchBlox in ports less than 1024 as we run SearchBlox as a non-root user. Therefore the user can do port forwarding by making changes in firewall
For example, in centos, it can be done using the following command in terminal

Text
iptables -t nat -A PREROUTING -p tcp --dport 80 -j REDIRECT --to-port 8080

Similarly, port forwarding has to be done for other Linux distros.
