Can I index documents protected by HTTP Basic authentication?

Yes, SearchBlox supports the indexing of documents through HTTP Basic Authentication. This is a method for an HTTP user agent to provide a user name and password when making a request.

HTTP Basic Authentication can be enabled through the Collections>Settings tab. Specify the username and password to enable the crawler to present the credentials when requesting the document.
