Yes, SearchBlox can index remote file systems or Windows shared drives. First, mount the share drives or file systems, and then specify the mounted path (UNC path) in the file system collection paths for indexing.
If the file share is available on another server within the same network and requires permission, run the SearchBlox server service with Admin access, and enter the credentials as listed in the screenshot below. Running as an admin account or account with access to files only will help successfully index files from the share.
